ABOUT
Ragnhild Sannes is a professional cellist, living in Bergen Norway, where she works as a performer and a teacher. She gained her masters degree in performance at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, with Bjørn Solum, principal cellist in the Oslo Philharmonic, as her teacher. She focuses her work around chamber music and solo performances. Her recordings of Knut Vaage and Ketil Hvoslefs string quartets was nominated at the Opus Klassik award. Ragnhild loves to teach and is currently teaching at several schools and privately. In 2020 she developed Sannes Cello Academy, an online academy for cellists all over the world.
